Leptoseris are commonly called Wrinkle Corals or just leptos. Leptoseris is widely regarded as one of the brightest and most colorful animals in found in nature. In the right lighting leptos are known to glisten or sparkle almost like they have glitter imbedded into their flesh. These corals exhibit an encrusting growth pattern that will coat rockwork or any other surface the colony is able reach, and they can pack a potent sting to any corals they come into direct contact with. Leptos grow best in moderate to high lighting and flow and will grow best in established tanks like most SPS corals. This coral is known to be one of the more resilient SPS corals and is likely to survive a wide variety of parameters and settings.
