The Engineer Goby, Pholidichthys leucotaenia, is a fascinating reef fish. They are black with bright striped white/yellow spots. The single horizontal line changes to spots as they mature. They can reach up to 12 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 55 gallons with plenty of substrate to burrow in. Their diet consists of mysis, brine, and other meaty food. They will also take high quality flake and pellet food.
