The Mimic Half Black Tang is also known as the Mimic Surgeonfish. They look almost like the Half Black Pygmy Angel. This fish can grow up to 10 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 125 gallons or more with plenty of water flow and space for them to swim. Plenty of rock to is necessary for them to forage and hide when they feel threatened. The Half Black Mimic Tang is considered reef safe. Their diet consists mostly of marine algae and seaweed. They can eat high quality flakes, pellets, and eat some meaty foods from time to time.
