Live Arrival Guarantee
The Bluestripe Pipefish is the smallest of the reef pipefishes. Though they are the hardiest, it is still challenging to keep due to their size and food requirements. This pipefish can reach up to 3 inches. They should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons. They will spend most of their daylight hours swimming inside rocks and ledges. At night is when they will swim out more and be searching for food. It is best to keep them with small peaceful and shy fish like gobies, dragonettes, firefish and seahorses. If keeping multiple pipefish they do best with one male and multiple females. Placing them in the aquarium at the same time is best. They can be harmed by large corals, anemones, and large shrimp and crabs. Their diet consists of mostly cyclops, very small mysis, and nutramar ova.
This fish is guaranteed for live arrival.
