The Vlamingi Tang is a semi-aggressive fish. They can grow up to over 2 feet and will require an aquarium of at least 300 gallons with plenty of swimming room as well as rock work to forage and hide when they feel threatened. A lid is recommended as they may try to jump out. They do well with other fish but may become aggressive with some other tangs. Their diet will need to consist of mainly marine algae but they will also take some meaty foods as well as high quality flake and pellet foods.
