The Vanderbilt Chromis is a very hardy fish found in a variety of aquariums. It is commonly kept in small schools, and used by beginners to learn the hobby. They are very peaceful and grow up to 3 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 30 gallons. This fish adds a dramatic effect to any aquarium. If well cared for they can live a very long life. Their diet should consist of mysis, brine, and other meaty food, and even high quality flake and pellets. Using vitamin-enriched foods may help to preserve the bright coloring.
