The Stawberry Grouper is a distinctive colored fish. They have a "strawberry" colored through with dark markings on the face and dorsal fin. This grouper is very easy to take care for and it will only grow to 11-12 inches. An aquarium with plenty of swimming room as well as rock for caves to rest is a bonus. The aquarium will need very good infiltration and water flow. Lids are highly recommended. They are an semi-aggressive fish and are not considered reef safe as they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths like inverts, shrimp, and small fish.   Their diet consists of meaty food like shrimp, krill, and small fish.
