The Stocky Anthias can grow up to 5 inches and will require an aquarium of 125 gallons with plenty of swim room but should have a few hiding spots. These are a very active species and will require multiple feedings a day. Like other anthias these are hermaphroditic and when in groups one male and 3-6 females. If the male dies a female will take over and morph into a male. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and other meaty foods. They may also take high quality flake and pellet foods.
