The Red Honey Damsel is like any damsel, an aggressive fish. This damsel is smaller than most damsels but can reach up to 4 inches. They become darker in color as they mature. They will require an aquarium of at least 30 gallons with plenty of rock to hide. Honey Damsels can be kept in a group in larger aquariums but for small systems there should only be one to avoid any fighting for territory. This fish will eat just about anything you feed it. Their diet consists of mysis, brine, and other meaty food. They will also take high quality flake and pellet food.
