The Long Jaw Wrasse is a semi-aggressive fish. They have a wide variety of color from deep red to light browns.  They can grow up to 10 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 125 gallons with plenty hiding places and good amount of substrate. They do best in a community tank with other semi-aggressive fish. This fish is not considered reef safe as they will pick at your inverts. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and other meaty foods as well as high quality flake and pellet foods.
