The Blackmouth Chromis is a hardy fish. They can grow up to 5 inches and can be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons with plenty of rock work to hide but enough space to swim freely. They can be aggressive towards others of its kind. They do get along with other fish and will not bother your inverts, which makes this a great beginner fish. As they mature the striping fades and the colors mute. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and high-quality flake and pellet food.
