The Turbinaria or Scroll Coral is large polyp stony (LPS) coral. This coral is also referred to as Pagoda, Turban, Vase, or Cup Coral. The names come from interesting platting growth shape of larger colonies. This coral may be bright yellow, green, purple, or brown depending on water parameters and lighting. The base of this Cup Coral is yellow and has green/yellow polyps. Placement in the aquarium should allow for space for rapid growth and moderate light and water movement. Scroll corals typically like to be placed in the bottom half of the tank and can withstand a wide variety of conditions.
