The Manybar Goatfish is a peaceful fish. They can get up to 10 inches long so an aquarium of at least 125 gallons is required with plenty room to swim and substrate to sift through while looking for food. Goatfish should only be housed with other peaceful fish. Goatfish are not considered reef safe as they will eat small inverts, worms, and crustaceans. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, frozen and fresh meaty foods.
